Introducing...

Ricardo Evan Roman! Ricky is three months old and we are in shock that it has flown by this quickly. Sometimes it hits us that he's really ours, that no one will be ringing the doorbell to pick him up and thank us for babysitting. We waited so long and it's almost too unbelievable to be true. But here we are: the very proud parents of a gorgeous baby boy.

Already, we are enjoying all of the new things he's discovering. It seems like every day, there's a tiny new adventure! Recently, Little Ricky has discovered the fun of laughing and smiling. Rick and I have taken to embarrassing faces, songs, dances, noises...whatever works to get him to crack up. It's all gums and tongue, but it's hilarious! He's also discovered that his hand is readily accessible when he needs it and he works really hard to try and get the whole thing in his mouth. You can hear him sucking on it from across the house! Finally, we think he's preparing for a marathon or for taking on Titi Joby's interpretive dance moves. He's learned how to kick his legs and lift them in the air; he's already a pro at rotating on the carpet to get a better view of ESPN (hmmm, who'd he learn that from?).
